Sharpness     An adult KITTIWAKE flew high up river from SARA at 10:20am. (Neil Smart).

Walmore Common     A Great White Egret paused very briefly at the Common at 12:40pm before flying off S, only the 3rd record here. (Andy Jayne).

Frampton     At the pools a pair of Red Crested Pochards, five Pochards, 150 Gadwalls, 74 Wigeon, 63 Tufted Ducks, 16 Shovelers, 18 Teal, 12 Mallards, 102 Mute Swans, 515 Coots, 36 Moorhens, a Little Grebe, eight Great Crested Grebes, two Cetti’s Warblers, two Blackcaps, four Chiffchaffs and a Crossbill over. This evening 32 Egrets over garden, 1+ CATTLE EGRET and the rest Little Egrets. (Nick Goatman). A Marsh Harrier flew along the seawall at 12 noon. Lots of Redwings and Fieldfares on the berries along the canal path and a Kingfisher along the ditch. (David & Jane Finch). Two Kingfishers in front of the reedbed, a Long -tailed Tit family in willows by the towpath, 30 Redwings, a Stonechat, a Goldfinch, two Grey Herons over towards the pools, a Great White Egret on the estuary and a Starling murmuration at dusk with one group roosting in the reedbed. Berkeley     On floods and stubble this evening 42 Mallards, 11 Canada Geese, 750+ Common Gulls, 300+ Black-headed Gulls, three Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 30+ Woodpigeons, a Grey Heron, 30+ Linnets, 20+ Chaffinches, 20+ Redwings and 12 Magpies. (Tom Weston-McClung).

Churchdown Hill     Birds included a Nuthatch next to the church, c8 Redwings and c6 Goldfinches. (Steve Mockford).

Stonehouse area   Late morning a Kingfisher around the Ocean (where the canal widens at SO79791 05047), two Jays, three Little Grebes on the canal towards Bonds Mill and a few Redwings around. Three Cormorants on pylons near Churchend, a Dipper on the diverted river Frome, two Buzzards over high towards Cress Green, Chaffinches around the water treatment works, a Buzzard in a tussle with a Raven over Stanley Downton and a fourth Buzzard on a pylon near Ryford. Two separate flocks of 20-30 Goldfinches at Stanley Downton and Bridgend. (Paul Sutton).

Netheridge Farm    A Green Sandpiper flying along the top of a hedgerow by the entrance to the Barn Owl Centre at 9am. (Jeremy Squire).

Notgrove    At least three male Bramblings in the beeches this morning. (Keith Jennings).

Gloucester    A female Brambling in the garden again today at Tuffley and five Siskins. (Mark Hobson).

Charlton Kings     A Grey Wagtail in the garden today by the pond, a garden tick. (Pete Clifford).
