Gloucester     A FIRECREST again in Richard’s Wood at Alney Island today. (Andy Jayne).

Tewkesbury     A GREAT WHITE EGRET in a field between Mythe nature reserve and Dawley’s caravan park. (Sarah Loaring).

Slimbridge     Between Shepherds Patch and Ryall’s Lane, Cambridge a GREAT WHITE EGRET, a Kingfisher and a female Stonechat today. (Mike Davis).

Stonehouse/Eastington     A Dipper at Pikebridge, 50 Chaffinches at Eastington, 50+ Redwings at Eastington, five Cormorants on pylons in a field adjacent to Millend Lane, two Buzzards, one at Cress Green, and one at Beard’s Mill, 16 Pied Wagtails at the Sewage Works and a Green Woodpecker at St Cyr’s Church. Minchinhampton Common     Two very confiding Golden Plovers surrounded by oblivious dog walkers, giving views less than 50ft away before running further away. (Terry Grant).

Frampton     Around the pools three Goldeneyes, seven Wigeon, 64 Tufted Ducks, three Pochards, five Little Grebes, five Great Crested Grebes, 24 Mallards, 20 Gadwalls, five Teal, two Shovelers, 33 Cormorants, seven Greylags, four Canada Geese and a Bar-headed Goose. Cheltenham    This morning at 9am, three Sparrowhawks circling low over Benhall, one chasing another and then going into a fast dive and swooping up before drifting off towards the Golden Valley. (David Norman).

Bishops Cleeve     A pair of Goldcrest in Tesco’s car park today. (Dawn Ballinger).

Ampney St Peter     A Kestrel, four Fieldfares and a Grey Wagtail today. (Liz & Colin Kilpatrick).
