Gloucester     The FIRECREST again in Richard’s Wood at Alney Island today. (Mark Hobson).

Chavenage Lane     A Barn Owl hunting at 1:50pm, also 4+ Stonechats and 12 Pied Wagtails. (Terry Grant).

Stonehouse/Eastington    A Little Grebe on the canal between the Ocean and Bond’s Mill. A Kingfisher at Pikebridge. A Dipper at Eastington, Meadow Bridge SO781057 and another at Beard’s Mill, also a Raven there. (Nigel Birch). In the same general area a Little Egret on the River Frome viewed from under railway bridge at Nutshell Bridge. Also two Long-tailed Tits, two Goldcrests, three Buzzards and two Kestrels. (Bob Hindle).

Stanley Downton     Two female Kestrels, a Buzzard, c15 Pied Wagtails with c15 Chaffinches in fields around the Water Treatment works. (Paul Sutton).

Cambridge     A Kingfisher, c20 Redwings and a Goldcrest today. (Dave Abrams).

Moreton Valence     Two Little Egrets, a Raven and 1000+ Starlings S of Parkend Bridge this morning. (MK). A Barn Owl hunting in the field to the S of Castle Lane at 3pm. (Roberta Goodall).

Saul     18 Golden Plovers over fields at Saul Marina, and a female Blackcap and a Grey Heron by the sluice. (MK).

Frampton     At Splatt Bridge 44 Shelducks, a Kingfisher, a pair of Reed Buntings and a Raven. (MK).

Horsley     A male and female Stonechat in the Boscombe Valley today at 1:50pm at ST83429787. (David Bullock).

Stroud     Two pairs of Mandarins at Bowbridge today. (Simon Ashley).

Leckhampton     A pair of Blackcaps in the garden during the past week. (Claire Neale-Brown).

Charlton Kings     A female Brambling and two Marsh Tits at a feeding station this afternoon. (Tom & Greg Mabbett).

Whittington     This morning c70 Yellowhammers, 50 Chaffinches, at least two Bramblings and some Goldfinches and Greenfinches. (Duncan Dine).

Hucclecote     A Redwing in the garden this morning, a garden first. (Emma Byford).

Ampney Crucis     A Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Greenfinch on feeders today. At Ampney St Mary a Red Kite, four Redwings, six Fieldfares and two Goldfinches today. (Liz & Colin Kilpatrick).
