WWT Slimbridge An adult winter LITTLE GULL amongst 172 Black-headed Gulls and an adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL on the South Lake today. WWT still closed. (Martin McGill).

Cotswold Water Park West At Shorncote two Barn Owls hunting over the fields near the sewage works late afternoon. c200 Lapwings in the area, a Sparrowhawk hunting, three Song Thrushes singing, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Snipe. Sapperton A mixed finch/bunting flock at Park Corner Farm with 25 Corn Buntings and eight Bramblings today. (Rich Hearn).

Frampton pools Late afternoon a Barn Owl, 50+ Black-tailed Godwits flying N with a Dunlin, a male Goldeneye still displaying to Mallards, two Wigeon, five Shovelers, 153 Tufted Ducks, 18 Gadwalls, two Kingfishers, two Blackcaps, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Raven. (Nick Goatman).
