Woolaston     The GLAUCOUS GULL has returned to fields near Woolaston today at 11am. (Martin Vaisey).

WWT Slimbridge    An adult winter LITTLE GULL amongst 172 Black-headed Gulls and an adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL on the South Lake today. WWT still closed. (Martin McGill).

Awre     An adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL and a Grey Plover today. (Lewis Thomson).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote two Barn Owls hunting over the fields near the sewage works late afternoon. c200 Lapwings in the area, a Sparrowhawk hunting, three Song Thrushes singing, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Snipe. (Bruce Kettle). An adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL in the Pit 16 roost this evening. (Rich Hearn).

Sapperton     A mixed finch/bunting flock at Park Corner Farm with 25 Corn Buntings and eight Bramblings today. (Rich Hearn).

Sharpness     The SHAG still at the docks today. (per Sharpness Port Wildlife FB).

Frampton pools     Late afternoon a Barn Owl, 50+ Black-tailed Godwits flying N with a Dunlin, a male Goldeneye still displaying to Mallards, two Wigeon, five Shovelers, 153 Tufted Ducks, 18 Gadwalls, two Kingfishers, two Blackcaps, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Raven. (Nick Goatman).

Nailsworth     At Ruskin Mill a Water Rail, a Kingfisher and a Grey Heron chased off a Little Egret. (Dave Abrams).

Cheltenham     At Naunton Park, from the garden a Red Kite, a Grey Wagtail and a Song
Thrush, all unusual here. Also two Long-tailed Tits and a Raven near the Norwood Arms. (Steve Brown).

Painswick    A Red Kite flew over the 15th hole of the golf course at 4pm today. (Simon Hart).

Hardwicke    This morning, S of Sellars Bridge, a Cormorant fishing on the canal, a Little Grebe, a male Kingfisher, five Song Thrushes, two Greenfinches, three Linnets, a Chiffchaff and a small flock of Redwings opposite Haywicks Farm. (Sue Beynon).

Stroud     A Water Rail at Lodgemore mill pond this afternoon. (Colin Greenfield). Two pairs of Mandarins at Bowbridge today. (Helen Bojaniwska).

Cam     A Blackcap singing in the garden today. (Magnus Carter).
