WWT Slimbridge     The second calendar year BONAPARTE’S GULL again today, for the first time since the initial sighting on 28th February. The reserve is closed but there is a chance of finding it on suitable habitat nearby. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton     From the towpath N of Splatt Bridge early morning an adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL, 20 Redshanks, 34 Curlews, a Bar-tailed Godwit, four Oystercatchers, a Goshawk stirring up the 100-acre then flew over the river. Also 156 Woodpigeons, 35 Meadow Pipits, 26 Linnets and a Sand Martin all through N. (Gordon Hodgson).

Tewkesbury     A GREAT WHITE EGRET on the River Avon just up from the Sailing Club this morning. (Sarah Loaring).

Arlingham     A Red Kite flew N at 10:35am. (Lewis Thomson).

Cotswold Water Park East     At Pit 104 this morning eight Goosanders (4m, 4f) and eight Goldeneyes (2m, 6f). (Duncan Dine).

Shab Hill     c1000 Golden Plovers today. (Duncan Dine).

Forest of Dean     Recent sightings from New Fancy View include a Peregrine, male and female Goshawks, Ravens, 6+ Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, a Meadow Pipit, a Chiffchaff, a Grey Wagtail and a Magpie, a rare sight there. (Rob Husbands). Three Buzzards over Mitcheldean this afternoon. (Chris Keeling).

Halmore     A Reed Bunting in the garden today. A second-hand report of a Barn Owl working the verges along Halmore Lane last night at 6:30pm. (Chris Newton).

Stonehouse/Eastington    A Blackcap at The Ocean. Two Chiffchaffs singing from trees alongside the railway at Beard’s Mill and two Green Sandpipers on the River Frome near Beard’s Mill. Four Dippers at Beard’s Mill, Bond’s Mill, the N end of Millend Lane and Millend Row. A Grey Wagtail at Beard’s Mill and another at Bond’s Mill. A Little Egret at Millend Lane. (Nigel Birch).
