Frampton     On Splatt Flashes viewed from the canal towpath c70 Curlews, three Black-tailed Godwits, 21 Redshanks, a Little Egret, ten Sand Martins flew N, a Kingfisher, a Raven, a Coot on canal only 2nd this year, three Fieldfares and three Redwings. A Bar-tailed Godwit and three Oystercatchers on the river. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Eight Black-tailed Godwits, two Redshanks and a Dunlin today. (Duncan Dine).

Gloucester     On Robinswood Hill a Green Woodpecker, a Nuthatch, a Coal Tit and two Jays today. (Martin Price).

Twigworth     Along Cox’s Brook eight Mallards, a Lapwing, five Snipe, three Stock Doves, five Skylarks singing and three male Reed Buntings today. (Mike Smart).

Leckhampton     From Shurdington Road Allotments to Kidnappers Lane and
Lott’s Meadow, two Sparrowhawks over, a Buzzard, two Ravens, a Green
Woodpecker, 4/5 Great Spotted Woodpeckers, 10+ singing Greenfinches, a
Bullfinch, three Coal Tits, a Long-tailed Tit and two Common Gulls. (Steve Brown).

Stonehouse     Beside the River Frome at Bond’s Mill this afternoon, four Grey Wagtails and a Green Woodpecker. (Dave Abrams & Hannah Willoughby).

Cotswold Water Park West     A Shorncote this evening a Barn Owl, four Shovelers, four Gadwall, four Tufted Ducks, six Coots and a a male Reed Bunting. (Bruce Kettle).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
