Uckington At least eight Red Kites and six Buzzards just past the fire station in a raptor kettle this afternoon. (Jeremy Squire).
Slimbridge At 10am today a Red Kite flew over Tudor Caravan Park, Shepherds Patch, heading SW. (Mel Greenhalgh). On a field being mowed in Longaston Lane six Red Kites, four Buzzards and a Kestrel. (Nick Goatman).
Berkeley A Red Kite over Old Brookend at 3:05pm, heading towards Halmore. (Clare Glanville).
Hardwicke A Red Kite flew over the canal heading S at 5:30pm. (Julian Long).

Halmore This morning a family of 4-5 adult and juvenile Spotted Flycatchers working the oaks in Ward’s Grove at SO695025, also two Treecreepers. This afternoon a male Sparrowhawk chased a small bird into undergrowth opposite the house. (Chris Newton).

Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth 40 Canada Geese, 22 Shelducks, a Grey Heron, two Oystercatchers, eight Lapwings including a juvenile, 31 Curlews (including two colour-ringed birds from 2013, one that had nested but failed nearby in Herefordshire, one that breeds in Fennoscandia; and two of the head-started birds from Slimbridge in 2019; therefore failed breeders already returning, at least four Redshanks, a Yellow Wagtail, three singing Meadow Pipits, two singing Reed Warblers and several singing Reed Buntings.
