Frampton     At Splatt this morning ten Chiffchaffs, three Blackcaps, two Cetti’s Warblers, three Grey Wagtails, three Goldcrests, a Wheatear and a Willow Warbler. A Jay, a Tree Pipit and 43 Meadow Pipits S. A flock of waders flew to the river consisting of a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Golden Plover and six Dunlins. (Gordon Hodgson).

WWT Slimbridge     From Middle point this afternoon a SPOONBILL, a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, five Curlews, four Cormorants, three Wheatears, a Whinchat and a Sparrowhawk. On the Rushy six Greenshanks and a juvenile Ruff. (Eric Harris/Martin Price/Terry Stevenson).

Saul Warth     This afternoon 28+ Avocets, four Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, a Sparrowhawk, two Chiffchaffs, a Wheatear, a Meadow Pipit, 30+ Goldfinches and three Buzzards, a Kestrel and a Hobby over Long Wood, Fretherne and oddly a Red-legged Partridge on the understory of Hock Cliff. (MK).

Pen Hill, above Colesbourne     Three Wheatears, a Whinchat, three Redstarts, four Yellowhammers, 20+ Meadow Pipits, 20+ Chiffchaffs, 100+ Swallows, a female Sparrowhawk, a female Kestrel and several Buzzards and a Red Kite. (Dave Soons).

Stinchcombe Hill    A Crossbill, Yellow Wagtail and Grey Wagtail over this morning. Swallows and Meadow Pipits on the move too. (James Robinson).

Witcombe Reservoirs     WeBS count today 22 Greylags, two Mute Swans, an eclipse drake Shoveler, 40 Mallards, 15 Tufted Ducks, two Little Grebes, two Great Crested Grebes, a Grey Heron, five Cormorants, six Moorhens, 31 Coots, four Black-headed Gulls and three Buzzards, two adults and a juvenile. Sharpness     A Red Kite over the docks at 3:45pm heading towards Lydney. (Clare Glanville).
