WWT Slimbridge     Birds today included two Greenland White-fronted Geese, 11 Russian White-fronted Geese, a possible Todd’s Canada Goose, a Garganey, 11 Ruff and ten Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy. (Paul Grennard/Mike Davis/Dot Jones).

Nailsworth     A large north easterly movement of Wood Pigeons today with at least 6800 in 20 minutes between 7:40-8am. Also a small southerly movement of Fieldfares, Redwings and Chaffinches at the same time (not counted). (Terry Grant). 

Chavenage Lane/Calcot area     At least 7000 Wood Pigeons, many flying NE, 160+ Skylarks disturbed from a stubble field, three Red Kites together, 72 Golden Plovers circling overhead, 360+ Fieldfares, 200+ Redwings, two Corn Buntings and eight Stonechats. (Terry Grant). 

Forest of Dean     VisMig this morning over Littledean between 7:40-8:55am included 2000 Thrushes, c250 Chaffinches, tens of Goldfinches, Siskins and Redpolls, four Bramblings and two Hawfinches. Also a Snipe this evening. (Dan Watson). At Crabtree Hill this morning 25 Crossbills in several groups, c150 Redwings, 12+ Fieldfares, 19 Blackbirds, three Stonechats, c80 Siskins, nine Lesser Redpolls, two Skylarks over and a Buzzard. (Paul Masters).

Coombe Hill Meadows    This morning a Siskin, a Blackcap, several Chiffchaffs, a MERLIN through chasing Meadow Pipits and two Cetti’s Warblers. (Ian Ralphs). Also five Mute Swans, 40 Greylags, 20 Canada Geese, 133 Wigeon, 15 Teal, 12 Shovelers, two Gadwalls, 11 Pintails, two Grey Herons, two Cormorants, a Buzzard, a Lapwing, a Snipe, at least two Water Rails squealing, 2-3 Skylarks over, at least 50 Fieldfares and c150 Redwings. Tewkesbury     At Mitton, along the Avon just N of Tewkesbury 125 Wigeon, 40 Mallards, five Shovelers, ten Teal, 125 Greylags, 50 Fieldfares and 100 Redwings. (Mike Smart).

Awre     Two Peregrines this morning. (Owen Follis).

Halmore     A Woodcock flying between woods (reported by a neighbour), and another reported seen a week ago at SO695025. (Chris Newton).

Cirencester     A Great White Egret on a private lake in Cirencester Park today. (Felicity Cobb).
