Frampton pools     50+Chaffinches with a Brambling, two Reed Buntings, 80+ Skylarks, 90 Redwings, five Fieldfares, 16 Goldcrests, two Lesser Redpolls, 30+ Siskins, two Chiffchaffs, two Ravens, 90 Tufted Ducks, 55 Wigeon, 56 Gadwalls, six Teal, 12 Shovelers an adult Yellow-legged Gull and two Kingfishers today. Chipping Campden    This morning on Dover’s Hill five Whooper Swans (1 adult, 4 juvs) flew eastwards across three counties, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Warwickshire. (Gus Ariss/Darran Rickards).

Bisley     Mid afternoon a Tawny Owl resting in a tree trunk, c50 finches mainly Linnets with a few Chaffinches, 53 Fieldfares, two Redwings, a Mistle Thrush and two Yellowhammers. (John Fletcher).

Elmore     This afternoon until dusk a juvenile Goshawk, a Sparrowhawk, three Kestrels, five Snipe, a Green Sandpiper, a Barn Owl, two Ravens, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Chiffchaff, a Nuthatch, a Yellowhammer and four Reed Buntings. (Andy Jayne).

Ozleworth area    A Red Kite dropped down towards Owlpen valley from the Kingscote/Nympsfield road. Near the tower seven Skylarks, c50 Linnets, three Fieldfares, 1000+ Wood Pigeon in fields near the A4135 to the Lavender garden and 30+ mixed finch flock with at least three Bramblings near the phone box. 2 or 3 Red Kite over Newark Park this morning. Forest of Dean    Tawny Owls calling in the night at Lower Mitcheldean and a Crossbill over the road from Speech House today. (Chris Keeling).
