Lydney Docks & Sands    An extremely late SWALLOW flying around the Docks inner basin for c15 mins then it flew off upriver. Also a Curlew and a Grey Heron on Saniger Sands, another Grey Heron and a Cormorant on Lydney Sands and 99 Lapwings on the foreshore at the entrance to the Docks. (Barrie Mills).

Sharpness     The SHAG flew in to SARA pool at SO 66865 03036 at 11:15am and was present until 11:30am at least, but appeared to be heading into the marina. Also eight Bullfinches (4m, 4f) on the track to SARA, a Green Woodpecker, a Raven, on the river 140+ Wigeon and a Curlew and a Peregrine on the silo in the docks. (MK). WWT Slimbridge     The GLOSSY IBIS was around the grounds today and was seen flying over reed beds at Splatt Bridge towards the 100-Acre at 10am. (Martin Price). Eight Cattle Egrets on South Lake this morning, before dispersing to surrounding fields. Also two female Goldeneyes on South Lake and two Dark-bellied Brent Geese on the Dumbles. Forest of Dean    At least six Hawfinches in Parkend at Crown Lane next to the cricket pitch at 8:45am. (Jeremy Holland).

Coombe Hill Meadows    A Ring-necked Parakeet, two Kingfishers and 100+ Greylags and 100+ Canada Geese flew in just after midday. (Paul Clark).

Leckhampton Hill     This afternoon c240 Lapwings, 66 Golden Plovers and 100 finches including 20 Bramblings. (Mark Dowie).

Great Barrington     200 Golden Plovers and 200 Lapwings circling over ploughed fields. (Andy Lewis).

Gloucester     Two male Blackcaps feeding in the garden at Hemmingsdale Road all afternoon. (Gordon Avery).

Hucclecote     A Pied Wagtail, this morning, foraging around the pond edge, first garden record for 2 years. (Harold Smith).
