Forest of Dean    This morning at Cannop ponds 20 Goosanders and six Tufted Ducks on lower pond and 16 Tufted Ducks and two Little Grebes on upper pond. (Alan Waterman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Mute Swans, five Greylags, two Shelducks, 400 Wigeon, a Gadwall, 200+ Teal, 20 Mallards, 67 Pintails, 20 Shovelers, seven Tufted Ducks, five Coots, an Oystercatcher, 13 Lapwings, two adult Great Black-backed Gulls, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, 3-4 Skylarks, 37 Pied Wagtails, ten Meadow Pipits, at least three singing Song Thrushes, five Redwings, five Fieldfares, five Bullfinches and at least four singing Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart). This afternoon two Dunlin, a Ruff and three Golden Plovers. (Ian Hull).

Ashleworth Ham     Two Mute Swans, five Greylags, 150 Canada Geese, 200 Wigeon, four Gadwalls, 400 Teal, 20 Mallards, 17 Pintails, five Shovelers, at least five Skylarks, a singing Song Thrush, a Chiffchaff and at least two singing Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart).

Saul Warth     Late morning a Cormorant N, a Curlew, a pair of Shelducks, 20 Linnets and a Raven. On the Warth 13 Lapwings, 100+ Starlings, 20+ Fieldfares, six Skylarks, eight Meadow Pipits and a white Buzzard. (MK).

Priors Norton     From the A38 at 11:25am, 3-4 Little Egrets just W of the road then a Red Kite over near a turning to The Leigh. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Whittington     This morning c150 Stock Doves and in the surrounding hedgerows a double figure count of Bramblings mixed in with Chaffinches. (Duncan Dine).

Cotswold Water Park East     At Whelford Pools seven Siskins by the car park, eight Goosanders and 41 Shovelers at lunchtime. (Ian Sherriffs).

Hinton     A female Merlin showing well, hunting along Purton-Brookend roadside today at SO684033. (Barry Hill).

Cheltenham     A Kingfisher seen on the River Chelt near Waitrose today. (Mary & David Tomlin).
