Upham Meadow An immature LITTLE GULL over floodwater this afternoon. Also two Mute Swans, 50+ Canada Geese, two Shelducks, 20 Wigeon, two Shovelers, two Buzzards, 16 Curlews, ten Common Gulls, a male Stonechat, 50 Carrion Crows and 50 Rooks. Take the road N out of Twyning village centre by the war memorial towards the end of Strensham. At the top of the hill turn right down towards the M5 tunnel under the motorway and you emerge onto Summer Leasow part of the SSSI. (Mike Smart).

WWT Slimbridge A female Marsh Harrier from Zeiss hide at 3:30pm, 20 Avocets around the grounds, four Cattle Egrets on South Lake and c100 Lapwings. (Lizzie Grove).

Cotswold Water Park East At Pit 104, Fairford at lunchtime 32 Pochards, 26 Shovelers, 24 Black-headed Gulls, 19 Red Crested Pochards, 13 Tufted Ducks, nine Goosanders, eight Wigeon, eight Mallards, six Greylags, three Great Crested Grebes, three Cormorants and a Mute Swan. Highnam Woods This afternoon 700+ Linnets over the stubble field below the chicken sheds at SO 774191 and six Chaffinches and Bramblings. Also eight Redwings, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three Long-tailed Tits, two Coal Tits, a Marsh Tit, two Song Thrushes, two Nuthatches, two Pied Wagtails and two Buzzards. (John Fletcher).
