Forest of Dean     At New Fancy View birds included c20 Siskins, two Ravens and a pair of Bullfinches today. (Christine Mora).

Alvington    18 Goldfinches and seven Siskins in the garden at Clanna Country Park this morning. (Paul Woolams).

Southam     Two Red Kites over the B4632 at 9:30am. (Dave Jeynes).

Halmore     Garden birds today included the first Siskin of the winter, a Nuthatch and four Greenfinches. (Chris Newton).

Minsterworth Ham     14 Shelducks, three Wigeon, 12 Shovelers, six Curlews, a Skylark singing and a Chiffchaff feeding in a hedge. (Mike Smart).

Upham Meadow, Twyning     A dramatic decrease in flood levels since Monday, most of the meadow N of the M5 free of water. Birds included eight Mute Swans, two Oystercatchers, 27 Curlews (including at least three colour-ringed birds, four Black-tailed Godwits, a Meadow Pipit and 50+ Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
