Saul Warth At high tide this morning a SANDWICH TERN at 8:30am, 16 Avocets, two Black-tailed Godwits, a Knot, seven Sanderlings, 70+ Dunlins, four Common Sandpipers, 14 Oystercatchers, 170+ Curlews, a Whimbrel, three Redshanks, 81 Shelducks including a pair with nine ducklings, two Marsh Harriers, three Great White Egrets and 15+ Little Egrets. Also 6+ Chiffchaffs, six Willow Warblers, a Lesser Whitethroat, 20+ Goldfinches and for House Martins at the sewage works. (Martin McGill/Duerden Cormack/MK).
Epney This morning the TURTLE DOVE for its 18th day still in gardens behind the Anchor Inn from 6:38am. Please park sensibly by the entrance opposite the seawall or on the road without blocking access and not in the pub unless you are using it.
