Saul Warth Early morning on patch 15 LITTLE GULLS, four Mandarins (3m, 1f) feeding from the cattle feed troughs, 115 Bar-tailed Godwits, 14 Whimbrels, ten Curlews, 12 Avocets, nine Oystercatchers, 20 Dunlins, seven Grey Plovers, 12 Ringed Plovers, a male Marsh Harrier, seven Swallows, three House Martins, two male Whinchats and a Yellow Wagtail. Coombe Hill Meadows A male Redstart in the trees along the canal close to the car park at 2pm. Also many Sedge Warblers and a two Whitethroats. (David Douglas). Also today two Avocets and a Wheatear in the meadows W of the Long Pool. (Ian Ralphs).

Gloucester At lunchtime today a Wheatear, a Yellow Wagtail and a Pied Wagtail on the muck heap at Zoons Court Farm. At Horsbere two Reed Buntings near the lake, a Buzzard, a Whitethroat, a Lesser Whitethroat and Greenfinch heard. (Simon Hart).
