WWT Slimbridge     At 8:20am an OSPREY flew low over the Rushy heading towards Saul. (Tim McGrath). A LITTLE GULL and two adult summer Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake late morning. (Seb Buckton). The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE and the Tundra Bean Goose on the Dumbles. The Spotted Redshank on South Lake from Hogarth hide.  (Slimbridge Sightings). Eight Greenshanks on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide. (Paul Masters/Andy Chapman).

Saul Warth     The WWT OSPREY flew through upriver at 8:30am, also 30 Shelducks, two Cranes, 19 Ringed Plovers, five Whimbrels, four Curlews, two Sanderlings, 32 Dunlins, two Little Egrets, a Kestrel, ten Swallows, a Chiffchaff, a Blackcap, four Whitethroats and a Yellow Wagtail. (MK). Also a Mediterranean Gull through at 9:30am. (Martin McGill).

Frampton    14 BLACK TERNS on the sailing lake from 10am. Also two LITTLE GULLS dropped in briefly at 10:40am.  Also three Swifts and a Common Sandpiper. The BLACK TERNS were present throughout the day in varying numbers with 24 passing through at 6pm. (Steve Rickard/Craig Brookes/Paul Masters/Andy Chapman/Nick Goatman/Mark Coller/Jon Dexter). 50 LITTLE GULLS high N through Splatt Bridge at 6:30pm. Also 20 Whimbrels NE. (Gordon Hodgson).

Sharpness     A flock of 42+ LITTLE GULLS flew N at 11am, and c18 Common Terns. Also a Red Kite, eight Whimbrels, a Peregrine, 11+ mixed flock of Dunlin and Ringed Plovers. (Oliver Paisey). Early afternoon 10+ LITTLE GULLS through, a BLACK TERN and a Grey Plover. (Ian Ralphs/Oliver Paisey).

Westbury-on-Severn     A Whinchat at lunchtime today. (Dan Watson).

Halmore     In the fields off Slimbridge Lane today a Hobby, a Red Kite, two Buzzards, a singing Garden Warbler, a singing Willow Warbler and several Whitethroats and Blackcaps. Also many Orange Tips and Holly Blues, several Brimstones, Peacocks and Speckled Woods and a Comma. (Chris Newton).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Today 5+ Buzzards, a Red Kite, a Raven, a Cattle Egret, three Little Egret, four Grey Herons, two Oystercatchers, a Curlew heard, 7+ Redstarts, 16+ Sedge Warblers, two Cuckoos, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Linnets, four Whitethroats, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Reed Buntings, six Lapwings, two Gadwalls and a Whinchat. Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon a Great White Egret, two Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, three Shelducks, two Greylags, three Canada Geese, ten Teal, four Gadwall, a drake Pintail, two Cormorants, 33 Mallards, six Mute Swans and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (John Fletcher).

Broadwell     Two Swifts back today, earlier than usual. (Henry Keller).

Rodborough Common     This afternoon a Swift, five Sand Martins, a Swallow, a House Martin, two Willow Warblers, a Whitethroat and two Chiffchaffs. Butterflies included two Duke of Burgundy, a Small Heath, several Dingy Skippers and Green Hairstreaks and good numbers of Holly Blue. (Rob & Petra Crofton).
