Ashleworth Ham Two Mute Swans, a pair of Greylags with four goslings, 3+ juvenile Shelducks, a female Gadwall with five recently hatched ducklings, 20 Mallards including a female with two ducklings, two Coots and an adult Lapwing with at least two full-grown chicks, both flying. (Mike Smart).
Daneway Banks Two Hawfinches flew over low heading towards Siccaridge Wood. A Red Kite over and another nearby. A Marsh Tit nearby on the old canal. Three Marsh Tits heard in Siccaridge Woods and also Silver-washed and Dark Green Fritillaries and Small Heath butterflies and Scarlet Tiger moths. Three Large Blue butterflies at Daneway Banks. Newnham-on-Severn Five Ring-necked Parakeets flew over by the river at 6pm, at least two appeared to be juveniles. (Dan Watson).
