Breadstone In the woods today birds included a Nuthatch, a Treecreeper, a Green Woodpecker, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Jay, two Willow Warblers, several Coal Tits, Goldcrests and Blackcaps and two Buzzards and a Red Kite over. Butterflies included four White Admirals, several Marbled Whites, two Holly Blues, a Common Blue, a Small Skipper, a Large Skipper, two Peacocks, several Red Admirals and Painted Ladies and many Commas, while at a neighbouring farm butterflies included two Small Tortoiseshells. Frampton pools Four Cattle Egrets including a juvenile, 150 Sand Martins, four Swifts, two Hobbies, 38 Mute Swan with 11 cygnets, 30 Greylags with three goslings, two Canada Geese with four goslings, 45 Barnacle Geese, a Tawny Owl, a Lesser Whitethroat with three young, 30 Blackcaps, 19 Chiffchaffs and seven Whitethroats today.
