Eastleach Downs     The first-summer LONG-TAILED SHRIKE present again today again along the minor road near https://maps.app.goo.gl/2DtRwdBHmTe3Wio89?g_st=iw and showing well. (Martin Smyth/Terry Stevenson). Also a Grey Partridge, two Whinchats, two Corn Buntings and three Fallow Deer. (Steve Pullen).

WWT Slimbridge     Two Garganeys on the Rushy still, a Wood Sandpiper from Robbie Garnett hide still, a Sanderling with a few Ringed Plovers and Dunlins and a Greenshank at Middle Point. 10+ Yellow Wagtails, two Whitethroats, two Chiffchaffs and four Stonechats along the Summer Walkway. Saul Warth     At 6:15am low tide 92 Curlews, two Avocets, seven Ringed Plovers, an Oystercatcher, a Great White Egret, six Little Egrets, 17 Grey Herons, the escaped Greater Flamingo, three Chiffchaffs, two Whitethroats, a Sedge Warbler, two Rock Pipits and two Stoats. (MK).

Aylburton     From the village to the Warth this morning six Reed Warblers, a Chiffchaff, adult and juvenile Buzzard, five Skylarks, eight Goldfinches feeding on teasels, a Lapwing, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Swallows and a field with 70+ Rooks, Carrion Crows and Black headed Gulls. Some Curlew feeding distantly on the sandbanks. Also House Martins are on second brood in a nest in the village. (John Meadows).
