Eastleach Downs     The first-summer LONG-TAILED SHRIKE present again today again along the minor road near https://maps.app.goo.gl/2DtRwdBHmTe3Wio89?g_st=iw . It has almost completed its moult and will probably not be around much longer. Also seven Wheatears, three Whinchats, three Spotted Flycatchers and 35 Corn Buntings.  (Ian Ralphs/Terry Grant/Steve Rickard).

Sharpness     Early morning a QUAIL flushed twice along the embankment this morning. Also 1-2 Greenshanks, a Whinchat and a Wheatear south of Sharpness. (Andy Jordan).

Saul Warth     Early morning 13 Avocets, 81 Curlews, two Bar-tailed Godwits, 60 Ringed Plovers, 30 Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper heard, seven Grey Herons, a Little Egret, the escaped Greater Flamingo, 20 Swallows, 500+ Starlings, two Wheatears, a male Redstart, two Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, six Chiffchaffs, a Rock Pipit, four Yellow Wagtails and a Reed Bunting. WWT Slimbridge     A Garganey from Martin Smith hide this morning. (Paul Masters). 14 Turnstones from Middle Point. (Paul Rich).

Frampton pools     21 Cattle Egrets, three Great White Egrets, six Great Crested Grebe with six young, three Greenshanks,five Shovelers, nine Teal, 23 Gadwalls, 70 Mallards, a Wigeon, two Swifts and a 250+ mixed flock of Swallows, House Martins and Sand Martins. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon two Buzzards, a juvenile Kestrel, three Grey Herons, two Ravens, two Whitethroats, three Meadow Pipits and a Reed Bunting. Also 20+ Clouded Yellow butterflies, 10+ Migrant Hawkers and 5+ Willow Emerald Damselflies with two pairs ovipositing. (Paul Clark).

Sandhurst Hill    At least five, probably eight, migrant Tree Pipits early evening. Also a Red Kite and two Spotted Flycatchers. (Andy Jayne).
