Saul Warth Early morning a female Shoveler, scarce here, 20 Avocets, 141 Curlews, 200 Ringed Plovers, 100 Dunlins, five Sanderlings, two Turnstones, 200 more distant small waders, a Peregrine, 21 Cattle Egrets, two Wheatears, two Yellow Wagtails, a Whitethroat and three Chiffchaffs. (MK).

Barnsley Warren SSSI Mid morning on the Fosse Way spur, 4+ Red Kites, two Buzzards, two Ravens, two Redstarts and a small group of Linnets. Butterflies, included a Clouded Yellow, a Chalkhill Blue, two Adonis Blues, two Common Blues and many Small Heaths. (Steve Brown).
