Eastleach Downs     The first-summer LONG-TAILED SHRIKE present again today again along the minor road near https://maps.app.goo.gl/2DtRwdBHmTe3Wio89?g_st=iw . It has almost completed its moult and will probably not be around much longer.

WWT Slimbridge     A GUILLEMOT on the river at 8:53am drifting down slowly. (Laura Nunnerly). A Phalarope species flew upriver at 8:58am but was not relocated. (Mark Hobson). An OSPREY flew S past Middle Point at 10:25am. (Paul Rich). At lunchtime today, a Whinchat with four Stonechats along the cross fence and 8+ Yellow Wagtails. (Steve Pullen). On the Rushy three Garganeys, six Spotted Redshanks (at least another 2 on site), two Greenshanks, four Redshanks, five Ruff, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, a Snipe, a Little Grebe and two Great Black-backed Gulls. 11 Cattle Egrets on South Lake causeway including a juvenile. Sharpness    The GUILLEMOT flew S at SARA at 10:20am. Also two Turnstones flew S, eight Sanderlings, a Marsh Harrier, a Sparrowhawk, three Spotted Flycatchers, a Garden Warbler and a Coal Tit. (Andy Jordan/Oliver Paisey).

Saul Warth     At high tide this morning in very wet conditions 14 Teal, 112 Shelducks, four Knot, 33 Avocets, 45 Black-tailed Godwits, 97 Curlews, threeTurnstones, a Grey Plover, a Sanderling, 100 Ringed Plover, 100 Dunlins, two Common Sandpipers, a Greenshank, a Redshank, 7+ Cattle Egrets, probably more but in the long grass of the Warth, eight Little Egrets, 11 Grey Herons, the escaped Greater Flamingo, a Raven, a Sparrowhawk, 50+ Swallows, a Wheatear, a Rock Pipit, a Willow Warbler giving a burst of song and a Painted Lady.
