Eastleach Downs     The first-summer LONG-TAILED SHRIKE present again today again along the minor road near https://maps.app.goo.gl/2DtRwdBHmTe3Wio89?g_st=iw . It has almost completed its moult and will probably not be around much longer. Also six species of raptor including a ringtail HEN HARRIER and a Goshawk, 40 Corn Buntings, 50 Goldfinches, three Yellowhammers, three Reed Buntings, two Whinchats and two Stonechats. Foxcote     At 5:53am a Barn Owl on a fence post at the A436/Withington junction. (MK).

Saul Warth     This morning a GUILLEMOT floated S close to shore past Hock Ditch outfall at high tide. Also two Rock Pipits, two Wheatears, two Common Sandpipers, 11 Cattle Egrets, a Lesser Whitethroat, two Meadow Pipits over and 10+ Linnets. (Steve Pullen).

WWT Slimbridge     From Middle Point late morning at least four Sanderlings, a Knot and 4+ Curlew Sandpipers. (Mark Dowie).

Forest of Dean     Six Hawfinches at Guns Mill near Flaxley today. (Andy Jayne).

Frampton pools    Two Garganeys on the Blue Pool at the top end of the sailing lake. Also 14 Teal, 16 Cattle Egrets and nine Shovelers. (Nick Goatman).
