Saul Warth     Early morning, no tide, hard work in fog, 125 Curlews, six Bar-tailed Godwits, a Knot, 40 Avocets, ten Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, five Little Egrets, the escaped Greater Flamingo returned after a few day in Wales and at New Passage, four Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps, a Swallow, 17 Meadow Pipits, a male Stonechat, a Muntjac and three Roe Deer. WWT Slimbridge      This evening a MERLIN in the Fifty Acre then flew S down to the Severn Ground. Also 166 Avocets on the river. (Martin Price). Three Spotted Redshanks (2 Rushy, 1 Tack Piece) and four Golden Plovers, a Bar-tailed Godwit and a SPOONBILL off of Middle Point. Three Greenshanks on the  Rushy. (Ian Ralphs). Sandhurst     This morning flocks of 90 Skylarks and 150+ Greenfinches. Also five Gadwalls, a Goshawk, two Sparrowhawks, eight Red Kites, eight Buzzards, a Kestrel, a Kingfisher, nine Jays, four Ravens, four Reed Buntings, eight Yellowhammers and a small movement of 69 Meadow Pipits overhead. Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning 12 flyover Skylarks, many Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler and Blackcaps on the towpath hedge. (Les Ditchburn).
