Saul Warth     From 6:45am over high tide a juvenile PECTORAL SANDPIPER, 250 Curlews, seven Bar-tailed Godwits, 228 Avocets, 70 Ringed Plovers, an Oystercatcher, two Curlew Sandpipers, two Common Sandpipers, a Little Stint, 400 Dunlins, six Sanderlings, two Grey Plovers, 37 Teal, 170 Shelducks, five Grey Herons, nine Cattle Egrets, six Little Egrets, a Kestrel, a female Sparrowhawk, a Mistle Thrush, two Swallows, a Wheatear and a female Stonechat. WWT Slimbridge     A juvenile PECTORAL SANDPIPER again from Zeiss hide at 2:25pm, presumably the same as the Saul bird, until 4:30pm at least. Also a Wood Sandpiper, a Water Rail, a 15 Cattle Egrets, a Ross’s Goose, two Cetti’s Warbler, 28 Ruff, two Little Stints, four Knot, two Greenshanks, two Green Sandpipers, three Spotted Redshanks, two Redshanks, four Snipe, 106 Black-tailed Godwits, a juvenile Marsh Harrier and two Egyptian Geese. From Middle Point earlier a SPOONBILL, six Ringed Plovers, 13 Dunlins, a Bar-tailed Godwit, three Grey Plovers, a Turnstone, the Ross’s Goose and a Pink-footed with with Barnacle Geese, a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, four Pintails, 22 Common Cranes, 35 Curlews, two Red Kites, a Peregrine and a Meadow Pipit.
