Coombe Hill Meadows Birds today included a Sparrowhawk, a Stonechat, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, two Water Rails (one seen, another heard), two Greenfinches, a Bullfinch, 12+ Fieldfares and three Redwings. Also a Weasel, and a black Mink both near boardwalk that leads into field/Long Pool hide. (Les Waring).
Quedgeley At Shelduck Road this morning a male Sparrowhawk caught and quickly dispatched a female Blackbird in garden at 11:30am. (Steve Pullen).
