WWT Slimbridge     The immature LITTLE GULL early morning on the Rushy and then not again until 3:45pm  when it returned to South Lake. Also the Dark-bellied Brent Goose on the Dumbles, two GARGANEYS, three Mediterranean Gulls and a Spotted Redshank. (Slimbridge Sightings). A FIRECREST from Holden Tower seen early on but remaining elusive throughout the morning although singing continuously. (Paul Masters/Mark Hobson).

Forest of Dean     Two male Pied Flycatchers at Lower hide, Nagshead today.  (RSPB Gloucestershire).

Ashleworth Ham     This morning a GREAT WHITE EGRET, 17 Black-tailed Godwits, two Curlews and a Snipe. (Les Brown).

Frampton     A GREAT WHITE EGRET on the flashes this morning. (Andy Lodge/Gordon Hodgson). Later five CATTLE EGRETS and 15 Little Egrets. (John Overfield/Gordon Hodgson).

Saul Warth     90+ Black-tailed Godwits and two Swallows today. (John Overfield/Gordon Hodgson).

Cleeve Hill     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE still at the top of the Washpool Valley this morning. (Colin Greenfield).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Little Ringed Plover, an Avocet, three White Wagtails and three Willow Warblers today. (Tom Mabbett/Ian Hull).

Ashley     A Swallow over the village early morning. (Mark Grieve).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Neigh Bridge three Blackcaps, two Cormorants, a Grey Heron, five Tufted Ducks, two Great Crested Grebes, four Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, a Buzzard and a Skylark. At Cokes Pit 17 Tufted Ducks, four Great Crested Grebes, two Willow Warblers, a Blackcap and two Chiffchaffs. At Pit 32, 25+ Sand Martins, three Great Crested Grebe, seven Red Crested Pochards, two Tufted Ducks, a Chiffchaff and a Buzzard. At Pit 31 three Reed Buntings, 40+ Meadow Pipits, a Pied Wagtail, two Red Crested Pochards, four Willow Warblers, six Gadwalls, a Chiffchaff, two Goldcrests, two Great Crested Grebes, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Buzzard, 16 Tufted Ducks, a Green Woodpecker, two COMMON SANDPIPERS, two Oystercatchers, 11 Wigeon, a Blackcap, two Skylarks, two Little Egrets, two Cormorants and 10+ Sand Martins. At Shorncote Reedbed nine Gadwalls, a Cormorant, two Reed Buntings, ten Tufted Ducks, five Teal, a Little Grebe, 27 Shovelers, two Chiffchaffs, a Grey Heron, a Stock Dove, two Little Egrets, two Willow Warblers, three Cetti’s Warblers, a Buzzard and two Comma butterflies. (Mark Grieve).
