WWT Slimbridge The immature LITTLE GULL early morning on the Rushy and then not again until 3:45pm when it returned to South Lake. At Pit 31 three Reed Buntings, 40+ Meadow Pipits, a Pied Wagtail, two Red Crested Pochards, four Willow Warblers, six Gadwalls, a Chiffchaff, two Goldcrests, two Great Crested Grebes, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Buzzard, 16 Tufted Ducks, a Green Woodpecker, two COMMON SANDPIPERS, two Oystercatchers, 11 Wigeon, a Blackcap, two Skylarks, two Little Egrets, two Cormorants and 10+ Sand Martins. At Shorncote Reedbed nine Gadwalls, a Cormorant, two Reed Buntings, ten Tufted Ducks, five Teal, a Little Grebe, 27 Shovelers, two Chiffchaffs, a Grey Heron, a Stock Dove, two Little Egrets, two Willow Warblers, three Cetti’s Warblers, a Buzzard and two Comma butterflies.
