Berkeley shore     A Yellow-legged Gull, two juvenile Stonechats, four Common Sandpiper, a Kingfisher and a Swift today. (Paul Taylor).

Epney     A Yellow-legged Gull by the river S of Epney again this afternoon. (Jeremy Squire).

Cotswold Water Park East     At Pit 132 eight Little Egrets, 154 Greylags, an Egyptian Goose, two Teal, two Little Ringed Plovers, five Common Sandpipers, four Green Sandpipers, a Whimbrel, five Green Woodpeckers, four Grey Wagtails and a Yellow Wagtail today. (Nigel Pleass).

Cotswolds     At Cassey Compton a Peregrine on a pylon and three Ravens. At Yanworth a Little Owl calling by the telephone box, a Kestrel and a Stock Dove. At Stowell Mill a Hobby circling high, a Kestrel, two Ravens, a Green Woodpecker, a Marsh Tit, a family of Long-tailed Tits and two Nuthatches. (Steve Brown).

Frampton pools     38 Chiffchaffs, seven Blackcaps, a Willow Warbler, a Lesser Whitethroat, six Whitethroats, two Yellowhammers, 30+ Swifts and five Reed Buntings today. (Nick Goatman).

Gloucester     A Great Spotted Woodpecker in a suburban garden in the Elmbridge area today. (Anne Dobbs).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
