Frampton     From Splatt Bridge this morning a male Cuckoo, c120 Shelducks, 30 Black-headed Gulls, a Curlew, three Little Egrets over, c20 House Martins, a male Sparrowhawk, and many Meadow Pipits. (Chris Newton). Pic by Chris.

Charlton Kings     A Hobby over the garden this morning. (Andy Lodge).

Forest of Dean     A Red Kite flew over Longhope again this morning. Also c10 Swifts in the area. (Angela Carswell).

Stroud     A Red Kite over Kitesnest Lane at 12:45pm, heading over Rodborough Common.  (Giles Diggle).

Northwood Green     A Red Kite at 9:10pm flying from W by SW to N by NW over the field S of the railway line W of Church Lane. (Neil Tappin).

Coombe Hill Meadows    A Yellow Wagtail, Avocets, Redshanks, Curlews, Lapwings, Sedge Warblers, Whitethroats, Blackcaps, Reed Buntings and a Cuckoo this evening. (Greg Lee).

Gloucester    Two Little Egrets at Alney Island today. (Paul Clark). A Cuckoo heard near Gloucester Docks at 5:30pm. (Rob McAllister).

Maisemore     From Church Road along the Court Lake to the weir late evening three Mute Swans (2 ads, 1 Cyg), five Tufted Ducks (3m, 2f), 17 Mallards, three Moorhens, a Coot, a Raven, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Song Thrushes, two Blackcaps, a House Martin, a Grey Heron and three Pipistrelles.
