Saul Warth Early morning 44 Avocets, three Whimbrels, 18 Ringed Plovers, ten Dunlins, three Oystercatchers, a Little Egret, a Tawny Owl calling, a Red Kite, seven Swallows, two Sand Martins, a Yellow Wagtail, two Blackcaps, a Lesser Whitethroat, four Whitethroats and three Chiffchaffs. Nearby 50 Sand Martins and a pair of Red-legged Partridges at Epney at 6am. (MK).
Elmore Court 35 Whimbrels in a recently cultivated field next to Wholly Gelato’s car park with 12 Stock Doves this afternoon. In the rewilding area five Reed Warblers, three Sedge Warblers, eight Whitethroats, six Stonechats, four Lapwings, four Grey Herons, a Little Egret and two Canada Geese. (Steve Pullen).

Sapperton Park This morning a mixed flock of c20 Corn Buntings and Yellowhammers, two Hawfinches, a singing Redstart, two Garden Warblers and several singing Marsh Tits. (Steve Kear).

Halmore Between Halmore Lane and Redwood, a Cuckoo calling around lunchtime and again from 7:30 this evening. A Goshawk, a Sparrowhawk, a Red Kite and three Buzzards over, three singing Willow Warblers, many Blackcaps and Whitethroats, a Garden Warbler, a Jay, a Green Woodpecker, two Greylags and two Shelduck.
