Coombe Hill Meadows This morning a Buzzard, a Red Kite, four Grey Herons, six Gadwalls, two Oystercatchers, six Lapwings, a Curlew, two Redshanks, 5+ Redstarts (4m, 1f), three male Reed Buntings, 5+ Sedge Warblers, a Yellow Wagtail, a Raven, six Swallows and two Linnets. Ashleworth Ham The first CES ringing session of the year today caught 57 birds including six Redstarts, 16 Sedge Warblers, 14 Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Bullfinch and four Reed Buntings.
