Coombe Hill Meadows This morning two Mute Swans, 40 Greylags, two Canada Geese, two Egyptian Geese, a drake Gadwall, 30 Mallards and a female with 5 ducklings on the canal, a drake Shoveler, a Grey Heron, five Coots and a pair at Wharf with 2 young, two Oystercatchers with 3 chicks, five Lapwings, a male Ruff in full breeding plumage with shiny black ruff, four Redshanks, 5+ Skylarks, five Swallows, ten Sand Martins, four Yellow Wagtails, 3+ Redstarts, a Cetti’s Warbler, 5+ Sedge Warblers, 5+ Whitethroats, three Blackcaps, 3+ Chiffchaffs and 3+ Reed Buntings.
