Sherborne Water Meadows     Three Spotted Flycatchers, two Marsh Tits, a Goshawk, two Lesser Whitethroats, a Garden Warbler, a Stonechat, 13 Whitethroats, three Red Kites, a Green Woodpecker and two Great Spotted Woodpeckers today. (Rogan Wolhuter).

Saul Warth     Early morning, no tide, 90 Shelducks including ten ducklings, ten Oystercatchers, 16 Avocets, ten Curlews, a Whimbrel, three Ringed Plovers, five Common Cranes, a Little Egret, a Reed Warbler, a Lesser Whitethroat and four Whitethroats. Also a Large Skipper and a Small Copper. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     Around the grounds today a Cuckoo, a Cattle Egret, a male Kingfisher, a Ruff, a Kestrel, 2+ Red Kites and a BITTERN distantly flying inland towards Purton at 10:40am. (Oliver Paisey).

Gloucester     A Barn Owl flew across the road at 3:30am. (Terry Grant).

Forest of Dean     Early morning at Crabtree Hill 2 + Wood Warblers, a Tree Pipit, two Crossbills and two Hawfinches. At Nagshead, 5+ Redstarts, two Spotted Flycatchers, a pair of nesting Pied Flycatchers, two Garden Warblers and five Mandarins. (Terry Grant).

Haresfield     This morning opposite the garden centre four Yellow Wagtails, six Yellowhammers, six Skylarks, two Linnets, a Little Owl briefly, two Buzzards, four Stock Doves and several Painted Lady butterflies. (Steve Pullen).

Frampton     Around the pools today two broods of Tawny Owlets, two Spotted Flycatchers and a Cuckoo. Butterflies included 33 Painted Ladies, two Orange Tips, 12 Common Blues, three Brimstones, two Speckled Woods, a Peacock, a Red Admiral and three Holly Blues. (Nick Goatman).
