Gloucester     The male BLACK REDSTART audible from New Inn Lane again, at 6:30am, but not seen. (Andy Jayne). Later this morning the male BLACK REDSTART seen singing on rooftops from the top of King’s Walk car park. (Keith Colcombe).

Forest of Dean     In the Woorgreens/Crabtree Hill area this morning a Wood Warbler, a Tree Pipit, two Spotted Flycatchers, 4+ Stonechats and a Raven. Many Odonata including an Emperor, Downy Emerald, Broad-bodied Chaser, Four-spotted Chaser, many newly emerged damselflies and a Beautiful Demoiselle. (Paul Clark).

Saul Warth     Early morning post tide, 60 Shelducks including ten ducklings, 40 Canada Geese and two goslings, a Turnstone, four Grey Plovers, 12 Oystercatchers, nine Avocets, 14 Curlews, five Ringed Plovers, four Common Cranes, a Little Egret, four Grey Herons, a pair of Grey Wagtails feeding young, five Swallows and a Cuckoo heard. Bourton Downs      A Tree Pipit and four Redstarts singing, and a Stonechat calling. (Andy Lewis).

Batsford Arboretum     Nesting Redstarts, Goldcrests and Firecrest, in two locations and Spotted Flycatchers have just arrived. Day ticket £12. (Stuart Priest).
