Saul Warth      At high tide at 6am 60 Shelducks, three Turnstones, a Greenshank, a Grey Plover, 14 Oystercatchers, a Whimbrel, 15 Curlews, a Ringed Plover, four Sanderlings, a Little Egret, seven Swallows, a Jay, scarce here, ten Long-tailed Tits, two Lesser Whitethroats and three Whitethroats. Also two Roe Deer and a Painted Lady. (MK).

Upper Coscombe & Farmcote area     A male Redstart, a Tree Pipit and a Spotted Flycatcher along the escarpment near Coscombe Corner. Numerous Blackcaps, Skylarks, Chiffchaffs and a Mistle Thrush. Butterflies included Painted Lady, Small Copper, Small Heath, Red Admiral and Holly Blue. (Ali Clifton Barnard).

Cheltenham     At Park Campus lake this morning an aberrant Moorhen chick, a Great Tit visiting a nest in a hollow branch and a Grey Heron trying to steal goose eggs. (David Norman).

Clanna Country Park     On garden feeders today two Chaffinches, two Greenfinches, two Siskins, four Goldfinches, and a Bullfinch. (Paul Woolams).
