Hampton Fields      A QUAIL calling still this morning and again this evening at https://what3words.com/freshest.dominate.adopt (SO 89063 00381). Please park at or near the junction at SO 88636 00254, and not at the private residences at the end of the road. Also a Hobby, two Buzzards, 4+ Corn Buntings, a juvenile Stonechat, six Skylarks, eight Linnets, two juvenile Pied Wagtails, two Red-legged Partridges and two Egyptian Geese. Saul Warth     Early morning no tide, 102 Shelducks, seven Oystercatchers, 27 Avocets, 12 Curlews, two Little Egrets, two close passes by a male Marsh Harrier, a Kestrel, four Skylarks, two Reed Warblers, four Whitethroats, a Chiffchaff, a Blackcap, two Sand Martins, ten Swallows and the first Meadow Brown butterfly. Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning a Buzzard, two Curlews, three Redshanks, a Little Egret, three Lapwings, two Yellow Wagtails, 8+ Skylarks, 6+ Reed Buntings, four Whitethroats (+3 juveniles), two Linnets, 6+ Sedge Warblers, two male Redstarts and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. Also 6+ Broad-bodied Chasers and the first Emerald Damselfly this year. (Paul Clark). Also from Teal Hide a Great White Egret, being harassed by a Grey Heron, a Pintail, two Little Ringed Plovers, two Avocets, 3+ Egyptian Geese and two Oystercatchers. (Adrienne Sanders).
