Haw Bridge East     A QUAIL heard and seen really well this morning. It’s in the rough field with the pylon and sheep in by the river. SO 84485 26353 (Robin Lewis).

WWT Slimbridge     From the Estuary Tower two juvenile BITTERNS showing well in the open at the Pillbox end of the pool today. (Nigel Young).

Saul Warth     At 6am no tide, 52 Avocets, 47 Curlews, seven Oystercatchers, 176 Shelducks, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, four Grey Herons, three Kestrels, five Swallows, five Mistle Thrushes, two Grey Wagtails, three Chiffchaffs, six Whitethroats and a Lesser Whitethroat. Also two Small Skippers. (MK).

Frampton    From Splatt Bridge early morning, the Grasshopper Warbler was still reeling intermittently and seen distantly on the edge of the reedbed from the gate. Also a Stonechat, a Great White Egret and two Lapwings. (Steve Pullen).

North Cerney     A QUAIL seen flying from the field next to the farm track on Chapel Lane early morning. (Dave Soons).

Upton St Leonards     A Red-legged Partridge in the garden at 8am. (Chris Hebbron).
