WWT Slimbridge The GUILLEMOT drifted up on the tide near the far bank at 9am and back S past Middle Point at 12:30pm. (Ian Ralphs/Ian Hull). Also nine Spotted Redshanks on site and two Turnstones, two Little Stints and seven Curlew Sandpipers on the Top New Piece. (Martin McGill). A Hobby from the Rushy at 2:39pm. (Nick Devereux).
Saul Warth At high tide late morning a GUILLEMOT, three Knot, three Turnstones, 100 each Ringed Plovers and Dunlins, 135 Curlews, two Common Sandpipers, a Greenshank, four Common Cranes, six Cattle Egrets, the escaped Greater Flamingo, two Wheatears, a Rock Pipit, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler, two Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps, 40 Swallows, ten House Martins and a Sand Martin. Also at least five Clouded Yellow butterflies. (MK). Also a brief Curlew Sandpiper (Mark Hobson) and a Whinchat, right of Hock Ditch. (Mike Davis).

Sharpness From SARA a juvenile SHAG flew upriver at 12:18pm, the GUILLEMOT near Purton at 2pm. Also 3-4 Spotted Flycatchers, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Kingfisher. (Oliver Paisey). Also 4+ Common Sandpipers, three Oystercatchers, 14 Cormorants, 70+ Canada Geese and 6+ Clouded Yellow butterflies. (Terry Grant).
