Eastleach Downs     The first-summer LONG-TAILED SHRIKE present again today again along the minor road near https://maps.app.goo.gl/2DtRwdBHmTe3Wio89?g_st=iw . It has almost completed its moult and will probably not be around much longer. Also today a ringtail Hen Harrier, a Peregrine, Red Kites, a Buzzard, a pair of Kestrels and a Raven and nearby a pair of Mistle Thrushes, three Jays, 12 Grey Partridges and three Clouded Yellow butterflies. Churchdown     A WRYNECK in a private garden this afternoon adjacent to Tudor Mead playing fields and Brickhampton Golf Club. (Paul Makepeace).

Sharpness     A GUILLEMOT drifted up on the incoming tide past SARA at 8:55am. (Ian Ralphs).

Saul Warth     The GUILLEMOT drifted into Hock Ditch at 10:30am before moving off with the tide towards the Noose and later back down on the falling tide. Also two Rock Pipits. (Mark Dowie). Early morning at low tide 12 Avocets, 110 Curlews, a Greenshank heard, 11 Teal, 25+ Cattle Egrets, a Great White Egret, two Little Egrets, ten Grey Herons, the escaped Greater Flamingo, a Rock Pipit, the first patch Garden Warbler of the year, two Whitethroats, three Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs and a Grey Wagtail. WWT Slimbridge     The GUILLEMOT went past on the falling tide at 1:20pm. (Roberta Goodall). 17 Common Cranes including a juvenile from the Van de Bovenkamp hide early afternoon. Only five appeared to be ringed. Many male Migrant Hawker dragonflies from the Robbie Garnett hide. (Peter Rodgers).
