Please do not park on verges, block gates or roads at this busy harvest time. Park in the car park at https://maps.app.goo.gl/iUUEaCKtkdimNaMRA?g_st=iw The car park will be open 5am to 8pm tomorrow, £5 for charity in the collection box, which will be inside the car park on the left attached to a wooden post. WWT Slimbridge     A FULMAR over the river at 8am. (Martin McGill). The dark phase ARCTIC SKUA first seen at Sharpness, flew past Middle Point at 10:39am, then circled high above Saul Warth and dropped down by Fretherne Church and was lost to view. (Paul Rich). A MANX SHEARWATER seen by a visitor going upriver past Middle Point and landed under Hock Cliff at 12:08am. (per Roberta Goodall). It was seen again drifting downstream from Middle Point on the far side of the river at 1:52pm. (Paul Rich). Also from Middle Point today From Middle Point a Turnstone, a Sanderling, three Grey Plovers, 12 Knot, a Whimbrel, a Peregrine, a Hobby and a Kestrel. (Rich Baatsen). Around the grounds three Greenshanks, 5+ Spotted Redshanks, 13+ Ruff and a Garganey on the Rushy. 5+ Green Sandpipers, a Common Sandpiper, 10+ Ruff, two Spotted Redshanks, 12+ Yellow Wagtails and five Cattle Egrets from Robbie Garnett hide. A Pink-footed Goose and three Curlew Sandpipers from Zeiss hide. (Paul Clark).

Saul Warth     The FULMAR, first seen at Middle Point flew past the Warth at 8:03am and made a second pass towards Awre at 8:44am. Also two 28 Avocets, Greenshank, 173 Curlews, two Black-tailed Godwits, a Bar-tailed Godwit, five Curlew Sandpipers, two Sanderlings, 100 each Dunlins and Ringed Plovers, 86 Shelducks, a female Pintail, two Cattle Egrets, two Little Egrets, the escaped Greater Flamingo, a Peregrine, ten Pied Wagtails, a Rock Pipit and 35 Linnets. Sharpness     A dark phase ARCTIC SKUA off of Purton at 10:09am. (Oliver Paisey). The WWT MANX SHEARWATER went past SARA drifting on turbulent water on the far side of the river at 3:03pm. (Mark Dowie). Also from SARA today a Hobby, a Peregrine, 1+ Yellow Wagtail, 30+ Barnacle Geese, a Barnacle x Canada Goose hybrid, a Kingfisher, a Nuthatch and a Red Kite. (Oliver Paisey).

Walmore Common     This morning an adult Hobby making a food pass to a juvenile. Also a Gadwall, a Little Grebe, five Lapwings, two Sand Martins, four Whinchats, two Stonechats and a Wheatear. (Andy Jayne).

Cleeve Hill     This morning covering some of golf course two Whinchats, two Wheatears, 16 Stonechats, two Redstarts, c20 Linnets drinking at washpool, c40 Meadow Pipits, c50 Swallows through, c10 Skylarks, two Red Kites and two Kestrels. (Tom Mabbett).

Upper Rissington     A juvenile Marsh Harrier just E of the trig point this afternoon. (Richard Tyler).

Nailsworth     A trickle of House Martins along the valley throughout the day with 180+ between 7:55 am and 8:30 am. Also at least eight Swifts flew south (6 together) and a probable Honey Buzzard which went down below tree level and may have landed. (Terry Grant).

Quedgeley     Two Swifts over at 7:20pm with a group of 50+ hirundines, slowly heading S. (Steve Pullen).

Leckhampton     A Peregrine calling for a few minutes heard from the junction of Leckhampton Road and Pilley Lane. (Steve Brown).
