Sharpness    From SARA a dark-phase ARCTIC SKUA flew N at 11:18am, and a wrecked FULMAR drifted up at 11:30am. Also the escaped Greater Flamingo, two Great White Egrets and a Yellow Wagtail. (Oliver Paisey). Both birds were seen at WWT and Saul. The skua was resting on the mud off of the Estuary Tower late afternoon and may still be around in the morning.

Lydney New Grounds     A GREY PHALAROPE feeding on flies around an outflow just before high tide late morning. Also two Common Sandpipers, a Redshank, two Wheatears, three Rock Pipits, 30+ Linnets, two Curlews, 12 Shelducks, two Little Egrets, a Buzzard, six Great Black-backed Gulls and 12 House Sparrows. Stroud     A LAPLAND BUNTING flew E calling constantly at 10:27am. (Terry Grant).

Saul Warth     8:30am-1:30pm a beached GUILLEMOT swam off at high tide. Also 20 Avocets, 136 Curlews, two Greenshanks, 200 Dunlins, 50 Ringed Plovers, a female Pintail, ten Teal, a Peregrine, the escaped Greater Flamingo, four Cattle and three Little Egrets, 25 Swallows, three Chiffchaffs, a Whitethroat and a Clouded Yellow and a Painted Lady.
