Lydney New Grounds     A GREY PHALAROPE again at 12:42pm on the sands S of Lydney. (Ian Ralphs). Then it went missing until relocated at 4:20pm on the mud mid river. (Mark Hobson/Mark Dowie). Also today three Wheatears, a Whinchat, 100 Goldfinches, 30 Linnets, six Yellow Wagtails, a Pink-footed Goose, a Knot, a Dunlin, two Ringed Plovers, 90 Black-tailed Godwits, a Kestrel a constant passage of Meadow Pipits, Swallows and a few Sand Martins and 50 Clouded Yellows including three pale form. Frampton pools     An OSPREY flew over Court Lake heading towards the Sailing Lake at at 5pm. (Nick Goatman).

Hazleton     A Little Owl, a Blackcap, two Redstarts, two Willow Warblers, two Chiffchaffs, two House Martins, two Skylarks, c60 Swallows, c45 Linnets and c30 Goldfinches. (Chris Furley).

Halmore     In the woods today a Kingfisher, a Bullfinch, a Treecreeper, two Nuthatches, a Green Woodpecker, two Willow Warblers, at least 20 Spotted Flycatchers, many Chiffchaffs, a Goldcrest, a family of Mandarins, a Goshawk, a Sparrowhawk, a Red Kite and three Buzzards over. (Chris Newton).

Aylburton Warth     This afternoon 30 Canada Geese, 22 Shelducks, five Teal, 26 Mallards, four Grey Herons, a Buzzard, three Oystercatchers, 477+ Curlews, 145 Black-tailed Godwits, 200 Black-headed Gulls, 50 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, five Skylarks, ten Swallows, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Chiffchaff and 100 Carrion Crows.
