Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning ten Teal, 20 Gadwalls, 25 Mallards, two Shovelers, a female Goosander flew in ahead of a rainstorm, stayed for a few minutes, then flew out again. Waders included three Oystercatchers (two adults, one chick), four Lapwings and a Common Sandpiper. Also a Great White Egret and two Grey Herons. Songbirds included Reed Warblers, Sedge Warblers, Skylarks, Reed Buntings and c5 Swallows. (Mike Smart).

Cheltenham      At the cemetery this morning two Green Woodpeckers perched on a grave stone. One flew off, the other dropped down to the ground and appeared to be anting. (David Norman).

Stinchcombe Hill     Two Spotted Flycatchers amongst a small party of Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers and Blackcaps this morning at the SW end of the hill, one caught a Red Admiral. Also six Brown Argus butterflies. (Brian Kings).

Winchcombe    10+ Bullfinches at the tertiary settlement lake at H&V Mill on the Isbourne Way at 11am, a mix of adults and juveniles showing well. (Stuart Galey).
