At the pools this evening the adult Yellow-legged Gull, a Common Sandpiper, a Redstart, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, two Yellow Wagtails, three Reed Warblers, three Willow Warblers, 42 Chiffchaffs, ten Blackcap, a Cetti’s Warbler, 21 Sand Martins, six House Martins and five Swallows. WWT Slimbridge     A Cattle Egret with the Long-horned Cattle on the Bottom New Piece at 9:35am. (Neil Smart). Hobbies, Little Egrets, Curlew, a female Marsh Harrier and Kestrels from the Safari. (Howard Smith). This morning three Greenshanks in front of the Rushy hide until 10:30am then flew off to the river. Frampton pools     A Swift over the Sailing Lake at 10:40am with 100+ Sand Martins, and a male Goshawk nearby.
