Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook the water is pouring through the breach in the Severn floodbank into the meadows, 70 Greylags, two Wigeon, 190 Teal, 40 Mallards, 15 Shovelers, two Tufted Ducks, 220 Lapwings, 24 Golden Plover, a Dunlin, a Snipe, six Meadow Pipits, three Pied Wagtails and 50 Fieldfares. Purton     This morning birds included eight White-fronted Geese, 40 Fieldfares and three Snipe flew NE. Newnham-on-Severn     On a farmland and forest walk a flock of 500 Linnets, Chaffinches, Goldfinches, a few Bramblings, Redwings and Fieldfares and two Hawfinches. (David Smith).

Cotswold Water Park East     On Pit 114 a juvenile GREATER SCAUP. Also an apparent juvenile Ferruginous Duck, although Ferruginous x Pochard hybrid is not ruled out. The bird was distant, behind the island, under water or sleeping and very tricky to view through the trees from the bridleway. (Martin McGill).

On Pit 111b 19 Shovelers, nine Cormorants, eight Mallards, 13 Coots and 12 Tufted Ducks. On Pit 111a 22 Coots, four Tufted Ducks, two Moorhens and four Redwings. (John Fletcher).
