WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT was reported by a visitor on one of the stick perches at Middle Point at 1:45pm. Generally it is very elusive and requires time and patience. From Kingfisher hide a male Yellow Wagtail on territory in the Four Score field, two Cuckoos, Kingfishers feeding young in the nest and a pair of Common Cranes with two chicks on the Bottom New Piece. Purton     A  HONEY BUZZARD N over at 1:48pm watched for c5 mins soaring and gaining height. Last seen striking NNW towards the estuary N of Tites Point. Also ten Red Kites (2,2,6), a Spotted Flycatcher, a Grasshopper Warbler and a Yellow Wagtail. (Francis Steuck).

WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT heard calling several times from 1:10 to 1:15 and heard singing at 1:40pm and possibly a very brief flight view. Also on South Lake a 3CY Mediterranean Gull, a drake Pochard , a pair of of Gadwalls, an Oystercatcher and  a few Avocets with chicks, the Common Crane pair with a chick. A Cetti’s Warbler heard near Peng and another by the Duck Decoy. (Stephen Curtis & Carol Rushton). Later two Mediterranean Gull on South Lake and 46 Black-tailed Godwits, a pair of Common Cranes with a chick from Van de Bovenkamp hide and a pair of Little Ringed Plovers on the Rushy. (MK).
