Purton     This evening multiple flocks of waders totalling 98 Whimbrels, 68 Bar-tailed Godwits and three Curlews, 12 Swifts, all three hirundines, a Yellow Wagtail, a Marsh Harrier, a Siskin and 135 Goldfinches in two hours between 6-8pm. Also Whitethroat and Lesser Whitethroat. (Francis Steuck).

Witcombe Reservoirs     This morning a GRASSHOPPER WARBLER reeling loudly in a hedge in the western corner of the W reservoir at 9:50am. Also 100+ Swallow, 100+ House Martins and 10+ Sand Martins. (Sam Walker).

Stank Lane to Hasfield Ham     Between 6:30 and 7:30 am birds included a GRASSHOPPER WARBLER, a Sedge Warbler, two Willow Warblers, two Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, two Whitethroats, four male Redstarts, a male Reed Bunting, 11 Mute Swans, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and two Stock Doves. Berkeley shore     This morning a male Wheatear, a Reed Warbler and a Whimbrel. (Paul Taylor).

Tresham     Early morning three Wheatears, two Corn Buntings, two Yellowhammers, a pair of Stonechats, a Stock Dove and a Little Owl. (Paul Rich).

Frampton     At 7am 250+ Sand Martins, 20+ Swallows and a House Martin dropped in. Also a pair of Oystercatchers and a Shelduck on Court Lake. (MK). This evening around the pools Sand Martins increased to 500+, an unringed Common Crane over, a Common Sandpiper, a Kingfisher and the Ross’s Goose. (Nick Goatman).
