Also a Jay, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Sparrowhawk, a Peregrine, two Kestrels, three Stonechats, five Meadow Pipits, a Bullfinch and lots of Redwings and a few Fieldfares. WWT Slimbridge     Almost certainly the same adult pale phase ARCTIC SKUA flew back down the river at 10:05am. A female RED-BREASTED MERGANSER landed on the river at 10:15am but didn’t settle and very quickly went back downriver. (Neil Smart). Frampton    From Splatt Bridge this morning at least 165 Fieldfares and 325 Redwings S in the first two hours, most hedge-hopping. 306 Golden Plovers including a flock of 250, two Siskins amongst a trickle of finches and a late Swallow S.
